Quirpon

Quirpon Island is a small island located off the northern coast of Newfoundland, Canada. The island is known for its rugged beauty, with rocky cliffs, sea caves, and stunning ocean views. A French noblewoman, Marguerite de La Rocque, was marooned on an island in the mid-16th century, allegedly because of an affair with a young man on her ship.
